Industrial AC-DC power module

An industrial AC-DC power module is a compact, self-contained device that converts alternating current from the mains supply into stable direct current suitable for powering electronic equipment. Low conducted and radiated emissions, together with high immunity to electrical disturbances, help ensure trouble-free operation in electrically noisy environments.Mechanical design focuses on easy integration and space optimization. Modules are available in various form factors, including open-frame boards, enclosed metal housings, and DIN-rail mount versions for control cabinet installation. Screw terminals, pluggable connectors, or solder pins are offered to match different assembly practices. Some models incorporate active power factor correction to reduce harmonic distortion and improve the efficiency of the overall power distribution system.In modern industrial applications, reliability is a key consideration.
